Marty was a great guy with a wry sense of humor about what went on in the courthouse. Guys like him will always be missed

Such a terrible sudden loss for Marty's family. He was a special guy. He walked by my office every day and always started and ended the day with kind words. He was a credit to the uniform he wore. A true gentleman. He will be sorely missed but remembered.

Kathy, Bill and family. We were so saddened to hear of Marty's passing. He was always such a pleasure to talk to when we happened to run into him at AC. He was always up on the local politics of Springfield and eager to give his views. He was never far off the mark. He was the only one who could get away with calling JoAnne dimples after all these years. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We will miss him.
