Not sure what to say?

I was friends with Martin 20+ years ago and always felt like if we ran into each other, it would be back to the same thing. He ALWAYS made me laugh. For sure the best pairing on the golf team. Just an incredibly magnetic personality who had an intuitive sense of what was important and (more importantly), what was not. Reading below what Jon says -- yep that makes total sense. All these years later, I was thinking about Martin and looked him up. Rest easy, buddy.

I'm very sad to learn of Martin's passing. He was a sweet, fun and kind man. I met him only once, he made quite an impression on me. We met at our company golf tournament and he sure did know how to make me laugh! May peace be with the family and friends and know that he will be missed by all who knew him.

Martin is loved and missed more than anyone will ever know.

I had the pleasure of working with Martin during a project my company was doing at his building. Martin was always an extremely positive, helpful, understanding person to be around. He was so easy to talk to and it always felt like I was talking to a life long friend. The last time we spoke he gave me great career and life advice. Although I only worked with him briefly, Martin made an impact on me and he will be remembered and missed.

so sorry for your loss. I wish you all the strength to carry on, one day at a time.

Martin was such a generous, heartfelt sensitive man. I thank God, for the many conversations we had that were uplifting @ positive. He said our conversations brought joy to his life ! One thing he loved is the rain he said It brought him peace and joy. He will always be remembered and never forgotten my deepest condolences to his family .

Sobriety is a great gift... unfortunately not everyone who wants it receives the gift of sobriety. The disease of alcoholism is tragic... no one in its path is left without pain. May this beautiful tribute to Martin send love and hope to the still suffering alcoholic.
