Martin S. "Pat" Malone , 93, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Hooverwood Nursing Home in Indianapolis. Born in Howe, IN, Martin was a resident of Fort Wayne most of his life. He served with the US Army 729th RR Battalion during WWII. He was a Conductor with Pennsylvania RR, Conrail and Amtrak for 43 years, retiring in 1983. He attended Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church, Moose Club, and the American Legion Post 6082. Martin loved to read, work crossword puzzles, and travel with his wife. Surviving are his wife, Norma J. Malone, daughter, Beverly J. (Bruce) Turner of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Marcus A (Jennifer) Turner of Avon, IN; Molly A. Brosseit of Indianapolis, IN; great-grandchildren Katherine M. Turner, Kevin M. Turner, Kelly M. Turner, Susan M. Brosseit, Colin M. Brosseit. Martin was preceded in death by his parents William Albert and Destina Malone, brother, Wayne Malone, sisters, Virginia, Hazel, Bertha and Anna. Service is 10:30 am, Saturday August 27, 2016 at D. O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with Pastor Steven K. Conner officiating with calling two hours prior. Private burial at Cedar Creek Cemetery, Garrett, Indiana. Norma, sorry Ingrid and I couldn't make it to the funeral we'll miss Pat greatly. You were both great Neighbors and a great value to the neighborhood association.

Our thoughts are with you Aunt Norma, Bev and Bruce, I will always remember all the fun times we had at the farm and the family get togethers. Uncle Martin was a special man to our family.
