Martin Neier

Marty was an unforgettable man. In the workplace, he exhibited an extraordinary patience, compassion and understanding toward all kinds of people. In his personal life, he set an example of stoicism and fortitude against far more than his fair share of obstacles that would have crushed anyone of lesser emotional strength. Through all of the challenges he faced in life, Marty never forgot his humanity and appreciation of family and friends. His memory is indeed a blessing.

There was no one in my career that I enjoyed working with and learning from more than Marty. He had the uncanny ability to take any seemingly wacky idea that Elton Kerness could come up with and turn that idea into an incredible event, some of which became national development initiatives. I join with those who mourn this very sad loss.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Marty. Through Jeanie, I heard about what great sources of love, support, and comfort you were to him.
