Marty & I were friends from his age 1 when I was born. I taught him to row a boat, age 9 at Bible Camp and water ski on Black Lake in high school. We were in the hospital, both with heart disease on the same floor when he passed.

Thank you for the details in Marty's Obituary. His mother and his grandparents lived in my neighborhood, one street over, when I was growing up. Marty's grandparents had a small pond in their front yard, and walking down past their house, I always wondered whether there were fish in that pond, but was not brave enough to go up on the lawn to check it out! It's good to know what happened to your neighbors from long ago and it seems that Marty did well in life. My condolences to his family...
