I had the privilege of serving Rosa Taylor's PTO with Marty a few years back, and last school year was a rough one for my son, who was at Howard Middle, and during his discipline issues, Marty supported him and our whole family with support and love. (Marty would be glad to know Jack is doing great and has become a true gentleman since those ISS'es!)

We are not at Howard this year and are just learning of Marty's passing from seeing a candle lit in his memory in the St. Joseph...

Marty left on enduring mark on Kohl's with his deep operational knowledge and his willingness to teach what he knew. We still maintain a "Marty's How To's" folder in our drive. As much as he fought Loss over the years, I am sure he is telling us he is not lost! But he will be missed.

Mary, Maddy, Kyle, and Grace - I am so sorry for such a hard loss. You've all been in my thoughts so often these last many months and particularly so in recent days. I am sending love and care from Minnesota to all of you as you grieve together. Lots of love, Maggi Adamek

I inadvertently said that I taught Maryrose and David at Ashburton when I should have said FERNWOOD Elementary.

My deepest condolences to the entire Pioli family, especially to Maryrose and David whom I had the privilege to teach at Ashburton Elementary School.

Marty, I know you are sharing your amazing sense of humor with everyone in Heaven! Your family are in our thoughts and prayers and I am praying that grants them peace and strength. xoox
