We were neighbors when they lived in Eveleth Minnesota and his family and my family had cabin on Lake Vermillion so if I wasn't at there house visiting in town I was visiting with them at there cabin my parents cabin and his parents cabin were not far away from each other. My sincere sympathy goes to his family.

Marty was one of the first to make me feel welcome when I move to GR in 9th grade. It was the beginning of a lifelong friendship. I am heartbroken and will miss our monthly marathon phone calls. I am praying for his family.
