Rest in Peace Marty! Diane and Joe Longo

Rest in peace my friend and mentor.

Mike, so sorry for your loss. We truly enjoyed your Dad's company for the short time that we knew him. You're in our thoughts daily.
Love, Rich and Marcia

I didn't know Marty well, but I met him at many Scouting events. His "Smokey the Bear Hat" and his smile were his trademark. He was always courteous and kind. He will be sorely missed. A true Mensch.

Our scouting family has suffered a huge loss. Marty was always one of my go to guys when I had a question. My condolences to his family. See you around the campfire my friend! Your stories will go on in scouting! Sorry I could not attend. We are away Troop 125

You will be missed Marty, by all but most especially by me. You will always be my scouting mentor who drove me to be as involved as I am today. As a friend of mine said, "We should all be a Marty to somebody". David M. Zeh, Eagle Scout, ASM, Scatacook District Advancment Chair, Unit Commissioner
