Megan, I just heard about Martin and my heart breaks for you and your family. So many fond memories with the kids and fun times on the golf course (he had so much patience with this hacker). I´m sorry I haven´t been back to CT to spend time to visit. Wish I could have played just one more round with him. He was an awesome friend and person. He will be sorely missed. Martin was unbelievable. I was always proud to be in his shadow, as the "other Martin" at all childhood gatherings. Admittedly, I passed Coach Pattern's Geometry Class when he helped me with my homework. I hope you are hitting golf balls with Couch "Ram" Gonzales in Heaven as you did on the practice field at Col-Hi.

Dear Megan and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of Martin from SMU and RepublicBank. I fondly remember the crazy happy hours and many laughs we all shared when we were young and carefree in our 20´s in Big D. One Halloween outfit that Martin and Charles B wore comes to mind. Martini was a wonderful guy. You are in my prayers. Deepest condolences from your old friend Emily Watson (Hillsman).

Being fortunate enough to meet Martin in this life, and to be blessed to have had the good fortune to coach our sons together, I do not believe I have ever met a finer person and Gentleman than Martin. We have truly lost an exceptionally wonderful Man, Husband, Father and Friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with Megan and the Family.

I am saddened to learn of Martin's passing as he was much too young to leave us. I, with my family, enjoyed sharing many good times with Martin, Holly and their parents Roland and Nancy. We enjoyed meeting Megan, sharing their wedding day and hearing of the growing family from the proud Grandmother. My prayers are lifted for strength, comfort and peace for all as you adjust to life without him. He was a great guy and will be missed. RIP Martin.
