Martin Rascon Sr.

Martin H. Rascon Sr., 48, of Tucson died on Jan. 20, 2013, at home. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Casa Grande, with rosary recited at 11:30. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Mr. Rascon was born on Jan. 29, 1964, in Casa Grande. He was a Marine Corps veteran and a call center supervisor. He loved his family and enjoyed coaching his grandkids in football. He attended St. Anthony's Church and was an avid 49ers fan. Survivors include his wife, Becky C.; three daughters, Nicole M. Polito, Brooke C. and Brittaney C. Farias, all of Tucson; three sons, Alex R. and Martin D. Rascon Jr. of Albuquerque, N.M., and Orlando J. Rascon of Tucson; his mother, Isabel H. Rascon of Marana; five sisters, Ida L. Hoffman, Susana H. Chadwick and Veronica H. Moreno, all of Tucson, Diana M. Cassette of Casa Grande and Victoria H. Silvain of Chandler; three brothers, David M. Rascon Jr. of Casa Grande, Daniel H. Rascon of Marana and Gabriel H. Rascon of Tucson; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, David Rascon Sr., and a brother, Jose H. Rascon. J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
