Martin Lias Ross

I am just so saddened by Martin's death. I, too, graduated with him in 1969 and played in the band with him. I remember many mornings standing outside the gymn where the buses dropped us off and talking with Martin. We waited for the morning class bell outside the gymn because it was the closest entrance to the bandroom where we dropped off our instruments before class. I can still see Martin's smile and the sort of determined walk he had. My deepest sympathy and prayers are with his family.

I graduated from Shaw in 1969 with Martin and remember him to have been a friend and an all around good guy. His family will be in my prayers. God Bless them.
