Not sure what to say?

I played for Marty's sponsored Sports Den basketball team in the Dade North Summer league back in the early 80's. He was a good man and my father and I loved stopping in the store and talking hoops. He will be missed.

The Hollywood Multiple Myeloma Support Group send our heart felt sympathy to you and the family.

This is a tribute to my friend, Marty, who I just found out, passed away a few weeks ago. When I was first diagnosed with myeloma, Marty called me. We have met a few times at the Patient and Family Seminar in Boca and Marty always treated me like a long lost brother. I have never met a bigger fan of the the University of Miami than Marty. He will be missed. Marty was a 12 year survivor.

I just heard about the sad news from Lisa. My deepest sympathy goes out to Kim, Shari and Marla. Marty was a wonderful guy and it was great doing business with him during his heyday at the Spirts Den! He will be sorely missed.

I will always remember Marty in my life. He understood the ups and downs that a coach goes through and was a genuine friend. He always knew when to come by the basketball office and go to lunch at Cami's. Even after my career moved on from UM, he always stayed in touch after big wins or tough losses. And when we returned as competitors versus the Hurricanes, his friendship was always on display. I know how much he loved his family and I pray for their grieving hearts as they miss such a 'Good...

Our hearts break at the news of Marty's passing. Such a sweetheart! Biagio loved him and memories of their ballgames flood him. You two are precious to us. We are donating to your JCC. Ours in Augusta does marvelous things as I'm sure yours does. Love & prayers, Biagio & Ruth Ann Vericella

We feel blessed that we were Marty's friends. What a special person he was to Arden and each of us. His smile and courageous spirit will be greatly missed.

Dear Kim & family,
I was saddened to hear about Marty's untimely passing. I have so many wonderful memories of our families during those younger years.
He was truly a gentle-man!
Warmest regards,
Esther Kramer

To the Rubin Family,

I had the priviledge of competing against Marty when he played and sponsored Sports Den. He competed hard but was always a sportsman. The last time I saw Marty he was representing NFL Players at the Miami Dolphins Facility where I work. I am sorry to read of his passing. A good man who left the world a better place than he found it.
