Not sure what to say?

Dera Sandy,

We are so sad to hear of Marty's passing. He was a ray of sunshine in a system that was often very gloomy! He will be missed, but many of his teachings and inovations will go on.

Dear Sandy,
I was very sad to hear of Marty's passing. He was always such a joy to work with...he will surely be missed.
My deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Sandy,

It sadden me to read that Marty had passed. He was the kind of fellow we loved to think would live forever. I'll always remember his wit, his directness, his honesty and will treasure his friendship forever. Marty was forever a teacher, even to non-students. I learned so much about people, in a fun way, from Marty and I still employ some of his teachings today. We will all miss him but will remember him fondly.

Love,
Doretha

Marty was a dear friend and mentor. He never failed to thank me for coming up with the name, "quinmester," and he never failed to search for ways to make teaching and learning in the Miami-Dade Public Schools better and surer. He had a rare down-to-earth approach to everything he tackled, and he made everyone feel a part of his accomplishments. We shared a time of flowering in the Dade public schools. The flower garden in much withered now with Marty's passing.

Dear Sandy & Family,
It was a great pleasure knowing Marty & working with both of you at the C.G. Art Festival. May he rest in peace & and may you be comforted by his memory.
Sincerely,
Rita & Larry Singer

Marty was a great friend, and a wise mentor. I'll never forget the many times he gave me good advice, always with a dose of his unique humor.

Our thoughts are with you and your family. Emil, K.C. Cagney days and Merle Ulery, North Miami Beach Senior High School days.

we have lost a valued friend, great contributor to society and he will be missed

Marty was always a good friend and I'll always remember the great times at "The Hawthorne Hilton". My thoughts and prayers are with you. Lance
