Martin Sauceda Jr., AKA, "Shorty Boy" went home to be with the Lord on Saturday June 25, 2022 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Native of Harlingen born January 22, 2001 son to Martin Sauceda Sr. and Aglahen C. Sauceda.
Martin was a talented tattoo artist and was currently employed at Southern Comfort Tattoo Studio in Harlingen where he met many people and made many friends. Shorty Boy had a great sense of humor, he liked to joke around and loved to make people laugh. He was the highlight at many family gatherings and always the life of the party. He lived life to the fullest with no regrets. In his lifetime he was truly loved by many and he touched many lives. His memory will live forever in our hearts.
He leaves to cherish his wonderful memory his daughter, Marisa Mariposa Sauceda, his parents, Martin Sauceda Sr. and Algahen C. Sauceda, two sisters, Judith Sauceda, Annette Sauceda and one brother, Zachariah Sauceda; maternal grandmother, Rosalinda Castillo. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins on the Esparza, Sauceda, Castillo, and Fernandez families.
Shorty Boy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Cayetano Sauceda and Maria Guadalupe Sauceda, his uncle, Ricardo Esparza "Big Rick" and aunt, Annette Chavez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday June 30, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Chapel Service of Christian burial is scheduled to be held on Friday July 1, 2022 at 10:00 am at Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel of the Holy Spirit with Pastor Mark Laiklam of Grace Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow to Heavenly Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, La Feria.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Josh Esparza, Xavier Fernandez, Jay Davis, Isidoro Rodriguez, Angel Gaza and Dimas Rivas. Honorary pallbearers will be Che Montalvo and Zachariah Sauceda.
