Marty and I were crew members together on the SS Jeremiah O'Brien. Marty was always quick to laugh and willing to go try anything. We caught up more in the past 2 years. I found several photos or Marty and was going to send some back to him but just found out he had passed. Fair Winds and Following Seas my friend.

My fondest memory was my by brother Mattew and I going to Texas to see Marty and him not being at his apartment and the landlady telling us to tell him to tell him to pay her when we see him and Matt and I taking a cab to the Galveston seawall and staying at a motel a building a beer wall until we ran out of money and then Matt running into Marty on the seawall in the back of a painting truck walking down the seawall and helping Marty paint a house at Crystal Beach and making enough money to...
