Not sure what to say?

Judy,
I am so very sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,
Anne Gunther

My sincere condolences and prayers to the family. Mr. and Mrs. Steffens were great friends to my parents. Mr. Steffens was an admirable Gentleman and always made me feel special. for twenty plus years he always told me to call him Marty, but I had so much respect for him it was always Mr. Steffens. I will miss you "Marty ".

I was with GE Marine Gas Turbine Engines in Cincinnati and had occasion to work with Marty many times. I always enjoyed working with him because of his knowledge, dedication and enthusiasm. He was a gentleman. Marty, I will always regret that we never managed to re-engine the SS United States with LM gas turbines though we tried several times.

Marty was a wonderful person to be around he always had a lot of positive energy and enjoyed his life to the fullest.
Judy we will keep you and your family in our prayers.

In addition to his family and friends, The Mariners' Museum lost a dear friend and inspiration in Marty. With every conversation, we loved his sailor's perspective from which we gained much. We are a far better place through Marty's volunteering and his solid advice. Never one to beat around the bushes, we loved the fact that Marty told it like it was. "Fair seas..., Marty.

My prayers and condolences go out to Judy and her family. Marty will be greatly missed in the morning waterobics class.
