Not sure what to say?

All of his loved ones are in my thoughts. He did so much to end animal cruelty.

Marty was a great colleague and friend for so many years. We both also enjoyed sharing our birthday. Condolences to Julie and all of those who loved him. He is so missed.

I am extremely fortunate that Marty was (and always will be) one of my best friends. He not only made the world a better place, but my world too. The grief I feel will not go away anytime soon. I'm very glad that he is free of suffering now, and that he is gracing Heaven with the eternal joy of his beautiful soul.

I am so sorry for your loss Julie. I know you have been by his side through everything. Now there is a new angel in heaven to help all God's creatures still here on earth.

We honor Marty Stephens for his dedication addressing the 3 Rs with wisdom and advocacy contributing so much to the cause we share. His important legacy will be remembered by so many.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Marty was an inspiration to many of us in the field of 3Rs. He was kind, approachable and dedicated. Condolences to all his family and friends at such a sad time x

As a young scientist starting out in the field of alternatives advocacy, I will always remember Marty's encouragement and strong support. He was happy to donate time, funds, and lend a word of advice. I learned much from him, and he will be missed.

I have long been an admirer of the steadfast work of Martin Stephens, in the field of fighting for Alternatives to Animal Testing. I was able to confer with him and get valuable advice as to how to further his work. He was a distinguished and respected man. His loss will be felt by so many , especially the animals he continually worked so hard to protect. He was a giant in the field. I am deeply saddened by this huge loss .

I am so sorry to hear this! I loved working in the same space as Marty - he was indeed kind, gentle and principled. His courage was a quiet badge he wore. To all who were close to him and especially Julie, my thoughts are with you. Rest easy, Marty.
