Martin Joseph Venezia

I know I´m late, but I just found out. Rest In Peace my friend.

I worked with Martin on the N.O.P.D. while in the 1st District in the mid-70's. You could always depend upon Martin to 'have your back' in any situation. He had a fantastic sense of humor. I'll always have fond memories of him.

My condolences to Martin's family. I spoke with Martin a while back and we were to meet up one day, but alas that will never be. Martin will be missed.

I am very sorry to hear of Martin's passing. I worked with Martin in the Homicide unit in the late 70's. In fact, he and I were both rookies in Homicide riding together on the night shift. We were told that night if a homicide occurred we were in rotation to handle it. Of course one did occur and we were assigned to handle it. This was the first homicide for both of us to handle from start to finish as Homicide Detectives.
