Not sure what to say?

My condolences to Mr. Yaffe's family. I was in his Social Studies class and he taught me how to drive. I have thought of him often over the years as my children learned to drive. He will be missed.

My condolences to his family. I had Mr. Yaffe for freshman(1961) social studies and as a senior(1965) for driver's ed. It is because of his excellent method of teaching driver's ed. that I have an outstanding record today. I always remember him asking what the speed limit was right after we passed a speeding sign. My father, who worked at the Pitman post office, usually would be the one to write out the postal money orders for extra credit for all the students who had to turn in their...

I had the awesome Mr. Yaffe for history and drivers education. What a great man and teacher he was! My sympathies for his entire family on his passing! Rest in peace dearest Mr. Yaffe!!!! God bless your family!!! With my deepest sympathy, Beverly Linn Guy, Class of 1970 Pitman High School

As my teenagers are starting to drive, I hear Mr Yaffe's voice and his teaching is passed down to my kids. Thanks for keeping a whole generation of PHS kids safe!!! Barbara Lee Navarro

He was my favorite teacher. I love his lectures, could listen for hours. Also, he was the drivers ed. Teacher. That helped me, my whole life. I will miss him, but have great memories. RIP Mr. Yaffe. Ed Arlington

Mr. Yaffe taught my mother, brother, sister, and I history and drivers education. I always enjoyed his classes and still in my head hear him say, "just a friendly tap of the horn" and "if you have to think about it you don't have enough time" when I'm driving almost 25 years later. Rest in peace Mr. Yaffe.

Martin's was a life well lived. He was a thoughtful and cherished neighbor and friend to me in my youth. He is someone who I can honestly say taught me many life lessons through just doing the right thing. And the tips he gave me in our driving lessons are still with me everyday.

My condolences to Beth and Michael.
