Not sure what to say?

Dear Daugherty family,

My condolences for Marty's passing. I attended SIU in the Avionics program with Marty and recently read the memoriam in the SIUC Aviation Newsletter. Marty and I never kept in touch after SIU but several of us were thick as thieves during those years. I have the best memories of that time, many due to Marty and his sense of humor and disposition. I will always remember him with the warmest regards.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Dear H and Janet,
My sincere sympathy to you and your family. No one knows the reason for these tragedies. Only trust in God and knowing it is His plan will ease the pain. I hope and pray for God's peace for you and your entire family in the days ahead.

In deepest sympathy, Diana Metzger

Dear H and Janet, and all of your family,
Please know that we are thinking of you, and praying that you will soon receive the peace that only God Himself can give. Although we know that we belong to God, and He in His wisdom, will bring us to Himself when He wants us, I can't help but wonder why He wanted Marty this soon. No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. Our deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

Janet,H,Ron,Carey, and Kevin, When I heard about the accident my heart fell to my stomach. Growing up as cousins, spending holidays together was my favorite time of the year. Marty's smile brightened everyone day. Its been a hard couple years for our families. I cant really understand what Janet and H are going through, but I do understand what the boys are going through since I just went through it months ago. My family tried to make it work to come to Georgia but was not able to make it...

Marty was always such a special person. We made him blush in high school, just by saying his name. I was so thrilled to visit with him at Nick's wedding in November. What a very special man . . . to his family, to his community, and to his company. We grieve for this loss! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Our Dear Friends, Jan, H & Family,
Words cannot express the sadness our family felt with the sudden passing of Marty. Your family holds a special place in our heats. The memories we share are priceless, may they bring you comfort. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always and forever.

Our Deepest Sympathy,
Love, Helen, Sharon, Howard, Tracy, Tresa and Judy
