Not sure what to say?

Dear Marty, I never got a chance to meet you, but from everything I've read, you are a stellar person/angel. I'm so sorry things couldn't have been different but God must've needed you home and now your sister is coming to join you. I'm sure there's a huge party up in heaven. Please say hello to her for me. Rest well.

I just returned from mass at St.Marys Church and heard the announcement of Marty's death. I taught Marty PSR in 2nd grade when he made his First Communion. He was also in my daughter, Judy's graduation class of 1990. He was an outstanding young man and it is sad to know that cancer took him much too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Dear Simon family - You all are in our family's thoughts and prayers during this much difficult time. Our son Joey had Marty this year and just adored him. We were new to the district and Marty made Joey immediately feel welcome and at home here. He will be forever missed and remembered by our family. God bless you all! ~The Eckenrode Family

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies for your loss. You and your family are in our prayers.

Dear Coleen - we are so sorry for you and your boys. I never met your husband, but from his picture I can just tell he was a happy and good man. It's been so many years since we've seen you, but have many great memories of swim team and Forest Park. I wish your family well. Barb and Jillian Laub

Dear Simon Family-

We are so very sorry for your loss. Marty was our oldest son's first grade teacher and one of his favorite teachers. He was such a wonderful person that truly cared and really made a difference in so many lives. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
