Not sure what to say?

When asked to speak of Marty, I hold him in a special category. I've had best friends, good friends, & acquaintance friends, but Marty was to me, my DEAREST friend. I've loved my Dad, my brother, my twin grandsons....& I loved Marty. To be around him was like a surge of electricity!! He was Sooooo special; a privilege of mine that he called me friend. He truly was a mensch. I think of him always; his smile, laughter, & his aura. God bless you Marty. I'm sure you have 'em laughing up there as...

Cherry, I didn't know you but Marty and I were friends back in the 70s in Houston. We both lived in the same apartment complex (The Heather on Shadowdale in the Spring Branch area). He was so funny and crazy and we had a million laughs. His CB radio "handle" when he was traveling was "Diaper Rash" as he was working for a baby supplies company then, as far as I can remember. Needless to say, when he was going down the highway, and some burly truckdriver was wanting to talk with him, they...

Cherry, our hearts are with you at this time.

It is too bad it took this for us to get back together for a few minutes.

You know if you ever need anything, you can call us anytime.

All of you are in our thoughts

Cherry,
It has been about 17 years since my wife,Marilyn, and I last visited with you and Marty. Marty and I were very close friends when he lived in Houston back in the 70's. Even though we have not stayed in contact, I still think about him often and all the crazy fun we had together in our younger days. I regret not staying closer. He will stay in my memories forever as will he stay in yours and your family's.

Cherry, I was so sorry to hear about Marty. You and your family are in my prayers. I'll bet Marty & Wally have already played their first poker game. Lorry

Dear Cherry,
I was shocked to hear of Marty's passing. He was such a great friend to our family throughout the years. He always had a great sense of humor, but had such a soft heart and helped so many people. I know you have many precious memories of your years together and I hope they will sustain you in this time. You and your family will be in our prayers.
Sincerely, Cherie

We will all miss Marty so terribly much. This is a great loss to our whole family. I am so sorry that the grandchildren won't have him to grow up around. Marty was one of the really good guys, and we all loved him. Our little Olivia said it best..."God will make him an angel because all good people get to be angels."

Cherry, I am so sorry for your loss. Treasure the memories of the many years you had together and take comfort if them.

Cherry,My heart and love go out to you. Marty would call me all the time to make sure I was ok. Sometimes we would talk for 5 mins. and other times for a hour,I love him very much he was like a Brother to me.He always wanted me to go fishing with him, maybe thats what he is doing right now. If there is anything I can do,please just ask, thats what he would have wanted.God bless and keep you in his arms,as I will keep you in my prayers. Bernie
