Not sure what to say?

Oh dear Dr. Richardson! So glad to have found this but so sorry he has passed. He is so precious because at 6 years old he saved my life! I recieved the killed measles virus and it led to measles, streph throat and double pneumonia. He worked diligently and I pulled through! Love you so much Dr. Richardsobn I anm forever grateful.

Mike was my friend. I surveyed hospitals with him and, when I was a hospital CEO in Maine, knew him as a colleague. Not only was he a great physician and educator, but also he was a true keeper of the osteopathic faith. My wife patterned herself after him, and she and I have taught many osteopathic students the world according to Dr. Richardson. He can't be replaced, but I sincerely hope someone steps up to fill some of the void that his passing has left.

Martyn gave so much back to Osteopathy. His contribution to the profession we love is immeasurable considering all the physicians he taught. We were fortunate to have him at WVSOM. Thanks Martyn for the tsunami wave of knowledge and caring you have created through the many lives you touched. You, sir, are an amazing man.

Dr. Richardson was truly an inspiration to me throughout my years as a pediatrician. He was a great educator, and as an educator of medical students myself, I have borrowed his wisdom on many occasions to aid in teaching.
I will miss talking to him about the medical education process.

Dr. Richardson, beyond being an exceptional physician was truly a kind, sensitive and generous man. As a medical student at WVSOM with a young family, Dr. Richardson showed me more love and compassion than nearly anyone I have ever met in my life. I have always kept him in my heart and always will as a mentor, friend and example. My love and condolences to Mrs. Richardson and the family.

I knew Mike as an educator during my internship and as a collegue when I returned to Normandy Osteopathic Hospital as a staff Ob-Gyn. He was a kind and generous man and will be missed. Martin J. Roitman D.O.; FACOOG. Normandy Class of 1963

Dr. Richardson was a great man who made a significant contribution to the osteopathic profession. I am proud to have been able to call him a friend. He will be sorely missed

Marty was one of the true pioneers in DO pediatrics. He'll probably be caring for cherubims now.

Jim King, DO

I'm deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Richardson. In July, 1966, as a 4 year old gun shot victim, Dr. Richardson is credited with saving my life when he was on staff at old Normandy Hospital. I was told that he spent numerous over nights at my bedside until my condition improved. Afterwards, he was our pediatrician until he left his practice in 77.
My heart goes out to the Richardson family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
