Marva Shepard

I am glad to have had the pleasure to have "Aunt Marv" in my life. She always wore a smile and loved everyone. She asked to be my daughter Secret's Godmother before she was born and I considered that an honor. Her nickname for me was "Bones". We would both giggle everytime she said it. She was "real" and I will miss her.

Marva Shepard became my friend before I graduated from high school, remained my friend while I was away at college and thereafter. She was the Godmother of of my son Justin, who loved her dearly, and Aunt Marva to Kelli and Stevie. My husband and I loved her, and she will be greatly missed.

Sis. Shepard was a jewel. She was such a wonderful person. I have special memories of her - her beautiful smile, her encouraging words really meant a lot to me. I know that this is a difficult time but remember that earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. I will continue to keep you uplifted in prayer.

To Windy and the Shepard family! My deepest sympathy is extended to you and your family on the loss of your mother. I will always have the fond memory of the last time we spent with her in the ICU standing around singing her favorite gospel songs! I have so many fond memories of her. We are so sorry for the loss of such a great woman of God.I smile when I think of her because I know shes in a better place.I know she's smiling down on us free of pain,tears and the cares of the world.We continue to ask God to bless the Shepard family with strength as they cope with the loss of a wonderful mother,wife,grandmother,sister and to many a friend.
