Marvin V. Andersen M.D.

I just heard the sad news that Dr Andersen passed away. Having worked for him for 11yrs I found him a caring person. Please know that my prayers are with your family at your loss of such a wonderful kind man.

What I remember about Uncle Marvin was that he could expand his loud voice and big smile to reach out to everyone and make them feel included. He embraced everyone by giving of himself and getting them to give, too. I dedicate this image to him and to all of you, hoping you will continue to feel his embrace inside you, and share yours outside you.

My deepest sympathies to
Dr Andersen’s family. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. He was my doctor for many years. When my son was born on St Patrick’s Day, he was excited that he shared his birthday and said “I’m exactly 50 years older than your baby” with a big smile!
I remember the trumpet in his office and pictures of his family.
Rest In Peace Dr Andersen. I’ll always remember you with a smile.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. So many great memories of our neighbor on Faun Rd and my first job in the health care field.

I notice that many people mention Marvin's kindness. I think of an example from the 1940s--when he was about 8 and I was 5. He had a bicycle and I had none, so he shared his with me for a year or so until our dad could buy a new one for each of us. What a good brother!
