Not sure what to say?

...10 years later and I still think of you often, my friend.

Marvin was a wonderful man, a loving devoted father, a good friend. I feel blessed to have shared a little time with him this summer before his premature passing. My thoughts are with Shari, His sons and family members. Much love to you all. We miss you Marvin.

Marvin was a fine man. Professionally, he was an unflappable editor with good news judgment and much journalistic integrity. -- Kent Sturgis, Kenmore, WA

I'm deeply indebted to Marvin for mentoring me as a young journalist. He was brilliant and kind and a great friend, and I miss him dearly. Condolences to his family.

Marvin was head of the copy desk during my years at the News-Miner. This was my first job after college. He impressed me with his quiet way of getting the paper out daily under deadline pressure. He was a good role model. My best to his family.

Marvin was an exceprional editor. I have fond memories of working together at the Fairbanks Daily-News Miner. I wish peace to his family.

Sourdough Jack hasn't been the same since you left the News-Miner. You are truly missed. Our best wishes to Sheri and family. RIP. - Julie Stricker, Fairbanks
