The love between the two of you Jeannie was so obvious. You stood by him and I believe that is why he had so many years after being diagnosed with cancer. Bless you and your family for being with him through this.

There is no words to explain the relationship we shared with each other for the past 28 years! He filled a void in my children's life after losing their own Father at a young age.And to my grandchildren and great grandchildren, he will always be their special "Grandpa", especially his special Little"Buddy" Benjimen that was always saying" try harder, grandpa. He loved my entire family dearly, and they always held a special place in his heart and that will forever be! We will always love you...

I'm very sorry Renee for the loss of your father. I can't imagine what you and your family are going through. I didn't know him well but when I did meet him that first day a few months ago at West Florida, he was a kind man with a gentle soul. I can only imagine that you and your dad had a special bond. My prayers go out to you for strength and comfort at this time.
