Not sure what to say?

I met this kind gentleman at the old M. C. outdoor municipal swimming pool years ago, both of us singularly swimming for exercise & outdoor enjoyment. We visited as virtual strangers, but I appreciated so much his interesting stories of his many lifetime experiences. I admired his active swimming-style despite an obvious longtime-ago arm injury. My sympathy to his family.

Marvin had alot of influence on my life. I have know Marvin for 73 years from when I was a young boy. He trained me in the A.I. business during my last year in high school. We will see the family on Friday at the service. God Bless your family. Roger Ennis

So sorry to hear about Marvin, he had a good life. Haven´t seen seen him for many years. Our father was in business with him in Artificial Breeding and the car business. Spend some time with your family when we were younger. Our condolences and prayers are with your family. Cherish your memories. Jerry and Sandy(Price) Zirbel

Cheryl, so very sorry to hear about your dads passing. He had a very patriotic life and thank you and your family for his service.

Cheryl, I am so sorry to read of your dad's passing. He lived a good life. I am so proud to read of all of his service in the army, and appreciate all he did for our country. My prayers are with you during this difficult time. Peace, Kathy Johnson Handler, Class of '71

My condolences to your family. His memories will live forever in your hearts. Sincerely, Jim and Vicky Graf

My sincere condolences to Marvin´s family. I met Marvin at the M.C. City Swimming Pool. We were both lone daily swimmers. Conversations with him were delightful. He told me many interesting stories about his life experiences especially in the military. My dad was badly injured in WWII, had a steel plate in his head, died young, so Marv was like a father-figure. Kind and gentle, but quite large in stature and a rather booming voice. I admired his stamina and regularity for swimming along...

Beth you were good daughter. You did such a great job towards the end of his journey. Thinking of you and your family. Nancy
