I still think of Marvin G as I fondly called him that many times over the years. We've known each other since our high school days and our being members in the the youth group at Eliot Congregational Church and continuing to our time at U Mass Amherst. His daughters and my daughter were very close to each other in those early times. A smile still appears on my face when I think of you Marvin G Brown. Your laughter made many of us happier and we love you. May you REST IN POWER. Wayne

First of all my condolences goes out out to Kathie and we need to keep Kathie in our thoughts and actions. I've known Marvin G since our HS days and they continued to U Mass and then to our adulthood. He had a big heart, a warm smile and he always made you feel welcome. I remember when we used to bowl and he had a very unique style (Think Fred Flintstone) but he got the job done. I will always cherished the many times we spent together and am so grateful that I have many pictures of Marvin....

The first time I ever met Marvin, back in 2009, when I first started working at Prov, he greeted me with such a big smile! I looked around his office at the dozens of elephants everywhere and commented, "So, you collect elephants, do you?" and with a big laugh he told me he just loved elephants, and what did I collect - like everyone simply MUST collect something! I thought for a second and said "books!" and he thought that was the funniest thing, and laughed and laughed! One time, he asked...
