Not sure what to say?

I was with Micky, Friday night and early Saturday morning before he passed away...Sunday. Micky was a lot of fun that night, charming, talkative, and warm...typical Micky. "One of the saddest moments for me, was hearing of the loss of my friend." That moment is still with me, even today, an unbelievable moment...before we parted ways, we'd always hug and say to each other," I Love you man." We did the same, that last night...as we parted ways... Micky, "I love you man."

I was saddened by the news of Micky. U met Micky in high school. Over the years we had lost touch. I remember the days when each of his children were born Fond memories when he, Peggy, little Micky and Ali would spend Christmas Eve with us. A sad lesson to learn about losing touch with the people you truly care about. Love and thoughts to the entire Cobrin family. Gaik Haynes

Ali, please accept my sincere condolences to you, your mom and your whole family. I was so sad to hear about your dad. He was a great guy and, as you well know, your biggest supporter. I know you have many wonderful memories. Cherish them. Sorry I couldn't be at the service today, but I had to be at school.

Peggy and family I want to offer my condolences. I still can't believe it. Let him rest in peace and I want your family to find peace to get through this horrible time.

Upon meeting Micky for the first time I was immediately taken aback by his affectionate and gregarious personality. Micky was the type of guy who was willing to give advice and always offered thoughtful support to encourage myself and the rest of his son, Micky's, teammates.

Micky's passion carried over to all matters in life along with his sense of humor and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Cobrin family.

Mickey was a great guy and loved Peggy very much. I will miss him.

I met Marvin Cobrin over a year ago at the Beverly Hills Hotel while working the overnight shift. He embrace us with his presence almost every night sharing his beloved memories and would also share how proud he is of his children success.

I'll never forget the sound of his voice when he would call out at me by calling me super mario. We all miss you at the hotel my friend. I'm sure we will meet one day in the next life and have that drink we talked about.

You will...
