Dear Joan,
We are truly sorry to hear of Marvin's passing. From your correspondence with us, we know it has been a struggle for both of you. But now he is at peace.
Take comfort from your family and friends, and please let us know if there is anything that we can help you with in the days ahead.
Our love and prayers to you.
Jim and Dora

Joan,
We have not met you yet, but we sure have enjoyed all the stories Sharon and her family share with us about her time with you and your family. Our prayers are that your memories will be refreshing and your promise of the coming reunion comforting.

Dear Aunt Joan, Sharon, Diane, and John. My prayers go out to all of you as well as the rest of Uncle Marvins family that I never knew....

I know on the family site there is a picture of Uncle Marvin sitting at a kitchen table and that that is how I see him in my mind. I don't know why he always seemed "too important" to bother! I told him once how I had the memory of seeing him working at an art or drafting table, flannel shirt,..and that I imagined people like Hemmingway must look...

Joan, I do so wish I could be with you at this sad time in your life. I remember all the good times we had when we were young and know there is more to come.May your family and your faith keep you strong, love Carolyn

Joan & Sharon:
Our prayers are with you during this time of loss. We know that God will be especially close and bring comfort as only our Heavenly Father can do.

Joan, Sharon and family,
We are sorry to hear of Marvin's passing but are grateful he is in a better place. Blessings on you all in this difficult time.

Joan, it is our loss, but in Christ it is his gain (Phil 1:21) We grieve with you, and you are in our prayers.

Our prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. May you know that the tears you shed are testimony to the impact of Marvin's life on yours - shed them freely.
