Not sure what to say?

I knew Marvin from SSA - first in the field office and later in the IVT studio. Marvin was the epitome of customer service. He was always encouraging and walked in life in a Christ-like manner. He will be greatly missed.

I remember Marvin when he stayed with his Aunt Eva and Uncle Bob and their sons whom I babysat for in the summer of 1964 & 1965....he was going to KU at the time...always such a kind word and am so sorry to learn of his passing...My sympathy to all...

I worked with Marvin for a few years in the IVT Studio in Kansas City. What a terrific man! He always had a smile for everyone and he was one of the most genuine people I've known.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I worked with Marvin in the IVT Studio in Kansas City. He was just one of the nicest guys I ever met.

I am sadden today for your loss. Marvin was a good part o my life growing up. I am Pam Blackmer Hill, as a young person we lived on the same street. and we often spent time talking and meeting on the bus together.we attended Welborn grade school and later on Washing H.S. I have not been close in years but enjoyed seeing him at last reunion and reviewing old times. My heart goes out to all of you. I DO understand such pain. May God breathe life into you and keep his Grace for you. I know...

I just learned of your loss via our high school email connection. I can not know nor comprehend your feeling of loss at this time, please know you and yours are in my thoughts and prayers. May the love of family and friends bring you peace and comfort at this time and as the days follow.

I just heard about Marvin passing from a woman we both worked with in Ottawa. I don't know if you remember me or not, but when I was in College I worked at the Ottawa Social Security Office, and I used to babysit for your children. I always counted Marvin as one of my role models and I always tried to give the kind of compassionate service to people that he did. I have a lot of fond memories of him and the time I worked with him. He was a wonderful man.

To the family of Marvin Degroff: May our Father in Heaven grant you extra special comfort as you are having to say good-bye to your husband, father, granddad, and brother. I can say without reservation that my best friend in high school was Marvin DeGroff. Marv was always concerned with our spiritual relationship as well as the physical. We were both baptized the same evening at Bethel Baptist Church during high school days. I know without a doubt he is asleep in the care of the Lord...

I believe many of his high school classmates would have tried to attend the services if we had known. I'm so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful man. My sympathy to your family.
