Not sure what to say?

I am saddened to find out that Marvin had passed. I believe the first time I saw the full extent of Marvin's character was standing in front the the Zeeland plant fire, right after I had just started working for the DeWitt family. Marvin was a man of great honor and was a rare innovator. He will be greatly missed. My sorrow goes out to all my DeWitt family friends. Frank Mello, Point Arena, CA

I was blessed to have had a wonderful visit with Marvin and Jerene last April. Marvin's spirit of Christ spilled through his warm loving eyes. His sense of humor filled the room as I witnessed not only his love for God but his enduring love of his family. His wish was that he could live to celebrate 72 years of marriage with his lovely and loving wife. Marvin got his wish and is now home with his Lord.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the DeWitt family. My mother worked for Bil-Mar and Request Foods and thought the world of Marvin. What a wonderful and caring person he was as a company owner and a blessing to the community. With deepest sypathy - the family of Dorthy Vriesenga.

I met Marv on many different occasions at work , I'm still working in the factory that Marv & Bill started many years ago. I'm grateful to the Dewitt Family.

Marvin and Jerene were supporters of CBH Ministries (formerly Children's Bible Hour) for years. Meeting them was a joy. You could see their love for people and the Lord in everything. God be with you Jerene. I know by experience what you're going through. I'll be praying.

The world is a better place because God shared Marvin with us. He was such a strong example of a God fearing, straight talking leader, that his teaching and mentoring will continue for generations. Our prayers are with his family.

To the Family of Marvin: Marvin was a very nice person and a well respected man of the community. I worked for Zeeland Farm Services over 30 years ago. We use to haul soy bean meal to the turkey farms. I met Marvin and Bill and had a long conversations with them. Both had the best outlook on life. I know that Marv is with his lord and savior this very moment. May God bless you....
