When he left his practice, I greatly missed this great Optometrist and ethical man who loved his family. I can only imagine the family's feeling of loss.

To Susan and her entire family, We are so sorry about the loss of your father. I've never known a more dapper man, elegant even in casual clothes! He loved his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and they all loved him very much, too-- proof of a worthy, well-lived life. Our thoughts are with you all, Marsha

Sending prayers in memory of your beloved father, husband, uncle and friend. I remember Susan from Meramec School, Wydown and Clayton High -- and the beautiful family home with the circular staircase. What a charmed upbringing we all had and thanks be to God for the long and happy life of Dr. Gernstein.
