Dear Loretta,

I went to a luncheon last week and Susan Van Lente mentioned to me that Marv had died. I was so startled. I had so recently talked to you both at the Cardio rehabilitation center. I feel so sorry for your loss.
Marv has been a part of my professional life for the years I worked in Beaverton Schools.
I am so glad I got to see and talk at length with Marv before he passed.
So sorry I missed his memorial. Be well, Loretta.

Our sympathy on the loss of your husband, Loretta, and father and grandfather to your sons and their children. I remember having Daniel in class, a good student as I remember. We were neighbors of your parents on View Terrace and had such a high regard for your family. We pray you will find comfort in your faith, your good memories and the love of family and friends.

Marv was a gentleman in every way.

Marv was a great man in so many ways. He will be dearly missed. My heart and prayers go out to the family.He will never be forgotten always remembered as a wonderful kind man. Until we meet again Marv I will always remember you with your sweet smile and kindness.

I remember how supportive Marv was of Loretta's music ministry.When she and I would play an organ/piano duet, he always had genuine praise and encouragement. He was truly the finest example of someone who bore the fruits of the spirit in his life. Much love to all of you as you must miss him so much, but we believe he's praying for you and can't wait to re-unite with you all one day!
