Not sure what to say?

I taught with Hoppert at Hill Middle school for about 15 years. His room was just around the corner from mine, so I saw him a lot. He was usually in good spirits despite the fact that he (like all of us) would become so frustrated because he just couldn't motivate some of the kids. But...he kept on trying. Hoppert always had a smile...he could be depended upon to liven up any party and gladly gave his home over to that cause when needed. Probably the greatest treasure Hopppert had were his...

When I saw in the paper that Mr. Hoppert had passed away I felt very sad as I knew him when I was a student in the 7th and 8th grade in Linden where he taught us Math. He was not only a good teacher but alot of fun. Later after I had children of my own I met him again when he was teaching for GBand found that I liked him not only as a teacher but as a person.

Lisa and family,

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your father. He was a kind man and I remember him fondly!

FROM THE GRAND BLANC CLASS OF 1956 MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH THE FAMILY.
