My dearest Jeanne and Diane,
I have just learned of your loss, and send my deepest sympathies and all my love.
It seems our mothers died on the same day (January 31).
I last talked to your mother on this past Christmas Day, when I called just to say hello. She was very bright and clear then, and we had a wonderful visit.
