Even though we never meet Marvin we felt like we knew him through his wonderful daughter Meredith.

Knowing Meredith makes us realize what a wonderful father, friend & person he was because he installed all those lovely graces into his daughter.

I am so sorry to hear about Marvin's death. He made a huge difference in my daughter Clara's love of literature as her 4th grade teacher at RCF. I also had the chance to talk with him several times about a book he wanted to publish about children's education. He was a brilliant man and a brilliant teacher and truly made a difference in the world. Once he found out that I had a Ph.D. in English literature, he insisted on calling me Dr. Holden.
