Dear Elly,
Ruth and I just got back to Buffalo and learned of Marv,s passing. We have often thought of you as we frequently drive past your home and wondered how things were going. Not only was Marvin a great doctor, we also thought of him as a great friend. I was saddened when he told me of his retirement thus forcing me to find a new physician . I,m glad I knew him and you and can only say with deepest sympathies, God Bless!

Dear Elly and Todd, Your news was so sad!!! When we talked last we knew Marv was not feeling well, but we had no idea how ill he was. Our lives have been enriched by knowing Marv---not only as a marvelous Doctor, but also as a cherished loving friend.
