Not sure what to say?

I still think of Marvin all the time. His memory and spirit still inspire me to be a better, nicer and kinder person. His laugh echoes in my head. Last night I was showing my kids how he used to bend all the tips of his fingers, saying he was double jointed. It was very cool when we were kids.

Marvin was the sweetest , kindest person, I know he is in heaven watching over all his family and friends. He will always be remembered.

To Maria,Alex,and Devon
I knew Marvin very well, he was my Godfather even though he is gone, in my heart he will stay. Everytime I look into my god brother and sisters eyes i see his face. I want Maria and the kids to know that i will always be by there side and my love will always be there when ever they need it.Marvin was so sweat to everybody and when i say everybody thats what i mean. Every time i think of him i look into the sky and i could see him smiling back.
My prayer...

Marvin was a childhood friend. I just found out that he passed away. I will never forget his smile. He was always happy. My deepest condolences.

To the Lyon Family:

I knew Marvin from attending the Classical High "86 Prom. He was also my brother fraternity. He was always warm and sincere. He will missed but not forgotten. Marvin is in a resting place with the angels. My prayers are with you.

To the Lyon family,

I was one of Marvin's classmates at Longmeadow High School, class of 1986, and one of his basketball teammates. It seems like yesterday when we elected him to be one of the JV co-Captains, watched him sink free throws with his patented no spin shot so we wouldn't have to run "suicide" sprints at the end of practice, and oiled up before games so we would look like NBA players during the pre-game warm-ups. I can still hear him singing Scenes from an Italian...

To the Lyon family,
I was truly saddened to learn about Marvin's passing. He was the person I was most thrilled to see at our ten-year high school reunion, and he still had the same warm smile, infectious laugh and optimistic outlook on life. When we campaigned for him as eighth-grade class president, it felt like the first step in Marvin's career of having a positive influence on people's lives. I'm so sorry that career was cut short. I feel privileged to have known him.

I am so saddened to know that Marvin has passed this earth. He was always so vibrant and alive - that brilliant smile and infectious laugh. We wore combs in the back pockets of our Sasoons, and campaigned for important things like 6th grade class president. "Marvin, Marvin, He's our man! If he can't do it, no one can!"

He was resiliant, joyful, thoughtful, brilliant, and kind. I cannot thank him enough for opening my eyes to life beyond the lily-white Longmeadow I had known. He...

Dear Lyon Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Marvin's passing. I went to school with Marvin from first grade through high school graduation. (It may have even been Kindergarten??) I will always enjoy fond memories of Marvin's sweet smile and beautiful voice. He always had a kind word and was a true gentleman. I was not surprised to hear he went on to accomplish so many wonderful things after high school. He will be in my thoughts and prayers, as are all of you.
