Marvin "Red" Powell, 79, of Pontiac, Michigan, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, an employee of General Motors, Plant 8 for 40 years before his retirement in 1981, died on Monday, June 4, 2001. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 6, 2001, 7-9 p.m., at Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home, 5929 South Main Street, Clarkston, Michigan. Further visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 7, 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 8, 10 a.m., at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Douglas R. Trebilcock. Interment will be at Ottawa Park Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home, Clarkston, Michigan.
