Not sure what to say?

Marvin was always thinking of others before himself. I was blessed to have gotten closer to him before he left us for his forever home. He always made me smile and he always wanted to help others. He was given a wonderful wife and family, and they were the answer to his prayers. He will be missed but his spirit of love, laughter, and kindness will always remain with everyone who he touched during his time on earth. He will never be forgotten and he will always be loved. My thoughts and...

Marvin served a mission the same years that I was there. This mission was for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in which he loved. I didn't really work with him, but I met him and felt his love of the gospel and of the Savior.

I grew up with Marvin in Lamont and have such fond memories of him. He was always quick with a smile and a hug and had a heart of gold. He was a blessing to all who knew him. My prayers for all of his family and friends as I know his presence will be missed. Jill Julien Siebelink

I had the privilege of knowing Marv from high school days. He was kind then and worked on perfecting it as he got older. May memories of this gentle giant carry you through the tough times. Godspeed, Marv. You left too soon.

We have known and loved Marvin for years. What can we add to that beautiful obituary? He is a great guy and we are thankful to know he was so happy and loved his family.

So sorry to read about Marvin leaving this world with so much left to do. We often talked on FB, but I knew him mostly from his days at Coopersvllle HS Be comforted that he made so many memories.

I was fortunate to have Marv as a neighbor growing up. He was always kind, polite and helpful, and as an adult even more so. I was able to visit with him a few years ago at Lamont Days and he was still a sweet soul. Praying for your family, this is a big loss for all who knew him.
