Read MoreMarvin and Jane Springer were my Godparents. My father, Robert Reeves, was a close friend of the couple when Marvin and my dad were working on Master's Degrees at Iowa State. I remember meeting their son Bob when he moved to San Diego. The Springers were wonderful people and always spoke highly of the city of Dallas.
