Not sure what to say?

Marvin Strode was one of the finest men I have ever known. He was my boss when I was a member of the Savannah Police Dept.We were members of the same church for a number of years. He had a fine family.I still miss him very much.God bless him soul and his family.

I was privileged to work with Marvin for several years on SPD. Im sure he will be missed by both family and friends. Dawn and I will pray for his family.

I am always saddened to hear of the loss of fellow Law Enforcement brothers especially at this joyous season of the birth of our Lord and Savior. He will be missed. God Speed and blessings to his family.

May God rest his soul and may God bless all of you.

Major Strode possessed a generous and kind spirit. He was a special friend to our family from the time my mother worked for him at the police department. He will be missed and his kindness never forgotten.

Words can not express the love and gratitude my family carries not only for Marvin, but the entire Strode family. Mr. Marvin remained a guiding hand and dedicated friend to my mother after my dad's passing 35+ years ago. His friendship & loyalty was always present as a memorial to Sgt. J.J. Brown. I pray they have found each other again! I'm sure there are many, many people who were touched by Marvin...what an honor! Prayers for strength during this sad time.

Prayers going out for Erline and family. May God bring each one of you strength, comfort and the peace that surpasses all. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this time and the time to come.
