My sincere sympathy to the entire family of Marve. I am sorry that I am so far away. Was in San Diego when Jeanne called to tell me Marve passed away. Marve was a wonderful kind, loving father and friend to many. My thoughts and prayers have been with you and will continue as you make the adjustment to your loss in the coming days. My sympathy to the entire family. Marv was an inspiration to me as a student, and now as a teacher. I look forward to hearing him laughing right along with Professor Dick Gordon in our Lord's presence.

Our sympathy to you, Marge,and Dick and Carol, and to the Vander Wal family on the passing of a much-loved father/brother/friend. We got to know Marv through his wife, Ruth, when she worked at Calvin in the Development Office. They were a very special couple, full of life and fun. We are happy that Marv will be re-united with the light of his life, Ruthie. Marv helped with the Faculty/Staff Campaign in our office just a couple of years ago. He will be missed!
