Sally, I feel like I have lost my father again. Doc would always ask me at Rotary how my daughter Suzy was doing. I just found out as I was out of town. Please accept our sincere condolences. Doc was one of the finest human beings I have ever known.

It's been said you should leave a place in better shape than when you found it. Doc Wollen did that and Olathe and the community were the beneficiaries.

At a Father-Son Banquet at the Methodist Church, Doc was my "Dad" for the event when I was a teenager. From that day on, he was "Dad" to me and I was "Son". What a wonderful, loving, giving man. We'll miss you "Dad".
