Not sure what to say?

Marx's curiousity about and zeal for life was contagious. His love for God was easily seen in his love to those around him.

I am thankful to God for allowing our paths to run together for a while.

Marx was a beautiful man. He always had an encouraging word and a bit of humor for me, even when I knew he was hurting. In our church board meeting prayer sessions, inevitably someone would ask how he was doing. He would typically say "Not bad considering." He was more interested in praying for the other folks on the prayer list before having us pray for his health. I am glad for Marx that he is with his Lord and Savior, but for those of us still here, there is a hole in our hearts. We will...

I met Marx personally during our HCC Missions Fair earlier this year. He was hosting the Involvement Team display and after talking with him...I immediately joined this team.
Besides the memories we shared in our JOY Sunday School class, one fond memory of Marx comes to mind. During his first visit to our home, he asked me..."couldn't I spell Alabama?" It took me a few minutes to realize I was wearing my "I LOVE New York" tee-shirt and THAT was what he was talking about!?!

Marx had a wonderfully cock-eyed way of looking at the world, and a great sense of humor. It was an honor to get to know him over the last few years, and to see him grow in his faith and love for God.

Tuesdays will never be the same without Marx. It was our day to get together and spend a few hours talking, laughing and trying to hit a little white ball around what is called a golf course. It never mattered who won it was the friendship we shared that was important. I will miss you Marx. Tell God we all said "Hi".

As I think about what kind of person I am going to be when I get old Marx Wolf comes to my mind. He loved God, his wife and his family. He loved life and lived each day to the fullest. He had a positive outlook on life. He had many talents and he used them for the Lord. At church he was ready to give a smile and a hug. He didn't look down on the youth in the church, even if the kid had a mohawk. When I get old I want to be like him. No, I want to be like him now. Thank you God for allowing me...

Marx was a good friend and golfing buddy. He always had a smile even when we weren't playing our best. I really looked forward to our golf outings. I also enjoyed his wonderful sense of humor. We had many good laughs. He will be greatly missed.

Words don't flow easy to describe my thoughts for a great man like Marx; but I would only like to say that I admired him very much; always so jovial and full of life; We'll miss him but not for long; the Lord will take us home very soon and we'll give him another hug again in a little while.
With respect and admiration.
His friend Raul Muytoy.

Marx was an inspiration to those of us still growing in Christ. His pleasant attitude and infinite smile were contagious.
