Mary Virginia Abdo

Hi had Frau Abdo for German 1 and German 2 in the late 70´s. She was awesome and I remember her offering to give us at least a grade of a "B" if we would take German 2 because she really wanted to teach it again.

I just wanted you to know how sorry I am to hear about your mother's passing. Your parents and I had been friends since 1973. Even though our social likes and beliefs were so different, our friendship worked over the years. I worked with Virginia at Berkner High School. I loved her delicious dry wit, her love for quality music, and her amazing intelligence. I have lost a friend I adored.
