So sorry to hear.A fine painter!

I am so sorry the learning of Mary's passing. I'm not a snowbird but a summer bird and just recently returned to Imperial. I took some art classes from Mary and she made me regain my confidence in painting watercolor. She always said I had a good eye for painting. I loved her instructions and still use to this day. Mary, I will miss you.

My sincere condolences goes to the family and friends. I am a Snowbird and over the last 18 winters, I had the joy and honor to spend some precious time with an amazing woman. Mary thought me painting and eventually I joined the art group. She greeted and welcomed us weekly and never hesitate sharing her talent and knowledge. Mary, thank you for all the good watercolor time spent together and your friendship. You made a difference in my life. Forever an inspiration.

I got to visit her in Imperial when I traveled down with my cousin Tomi Sue, who tried to go yearly. That was our last visit, and it was pre-COVID, so several years ago. Aunt Mary gave us a...

I worked with Mary for a decade. As a home builder, I was lucky to find her when I opened my office in Brawley. I always appreciated her critiques of the houses that I conceptualized. She would then convert my modified concepts into detailed, hand made, working drawings which generally passed the building departments of every jurisdiction in the valley. In my estimation, no one else in the valley could compare with her. In addition to her skills as a draftswoman, Mary was a kind,...
