Mrs. Mary Ann Willis Holley, 65yrs of London, OH took Jesus’ hand on Wed., Sept. 1, 2004 after a short illness at Ohio State University in Columbus, OH and now lives in heaven. Mary Ann was born, February 16, 1939 in Huntington, WV. She graduated from Huntington East High School and Southertins Beauty School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas Eugene and Ola Mae Willis; her son Eugene Willis Edwards, and her daughter, Kerri Holley Jordan. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend Johnie L. Holley Sr. of London, OH, son Jack L. and Dianne Edwards of London, OH, daughter Mindy Lin and Tim Darrah of Proctorville, OH, son Johnie L. and Jodie Holley of Proctorville, OH, sister Linda Gene and Gary Black Sr. of Barboursville, WV, a special nephew Gary and Debbie Black of Hilliard, OH, a special niece Sara Gene and Harry Tipton of South Point, OH. Mary Ann had 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, several more nieces and nephews, and a very special friend Nancy Robinson Asbury of Huntington, WV. Mary Ann was a beautician in her younger years, a speaker for M.A.D.D., and Car Teens of West Jefferson, OH. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Huntington, WV. A celebration of her life will be conducted by Rev. William (Bill) DeMoss at Beard Mortuary, Huntington on Wednesday September 8th at 2:00pm. Visitation for friends will be on Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00pm at the mortuary. Mary Ann’s wishes were for her cremains to be buried in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington at a later date. I did not have the opportunity of knowing Mary Ann personally,(I know Linda and she often spoke of her dear sister.) I know your loved one will be missed but her wonderful memories will live in your hearts forever.

My computer is back up and I just wanted to let you know you are in my prayers. Mary Ann had a smile that all knew.
